Just heard about Stan's passing the other day. He was a good friend and I remember well the days and hours we spent building model cars and later on working on the real ones. He had a `49 Merc convertible and I remember being stuck underneath it when a jack failed. Didn't think I'd ever get out from under it. He wasn't home and I was replacing the clutch for him. A neighbor finally came along and freed me.

I'm in shock having just seen the red "in memory" mark by his name. I guess I thought he'd live forever. He will be greatly missed.
