JACKSON MADDOX Jackson Paul Maddox, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away March 10, 2015. Jackson was a long-time resident of Las Vegas and graduated from Boulder City High School in 1962. He earned a master's degree from UNLV and spent most of his career as a safety manager at EG&G. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Doris Maddox. He leaves behind his sister, Marion Derby; daughter and son-in-law, Terra and Brice Ueckert; son, Jason Maddox; and nephews, Michael and Kent Derby. His is also survived by his two grandchildren, Ethan and Logan Ueckert; and a great-granddaughter. At his request, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled.

It is reported by Jack Maddox's classmate, Bob Miner, that Jack passed away in a local hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

I had a very rewarding working relationship with Jack at EG&G Energy Measurements for many years.  Jack was not only the ES&H Division Manager, but one of the most experienced, knowledgable and respected Environment and Safety managers in the governmental and public sectors.  I am greatful to him for his friendship and shared knowledge during those several years.  I will sincerely miss him...Mike Berry
