Lynn Atkison (1964)

I grew up with Linda.  I always thought she was interesting, in a slighly quiet, independent way.  She didn't appear to be part of a girls' click and seemed to do things on her own, as did I, at times.  Because I had a horse, I didn't participate in weekend or after-school get-togethers as much as some did.  Linda and I sometimes hung out and I found her to have interesting observations.  I know little of her activities since high school, although she had a couple of children and did volunteer work in S. America, I think.  She was always doing interesting things.  Her battle with cancer showed us how incredibly strong, resilient, and spiritual she was.  I admired her greatly for that.

Linda was the most genuine person I ever knew.  She treated everyone with honesty and caring.  My high school years were made easier because Linda was my friend.  She followed her impulses and her fearless heart.  I will miss my dear friend.

Mariaelena Garn (Garn-McGough) (1962)

I always remember Linda as a free spirit. Loved her laugh, and wicked sense of humor. I loved talking to her about anything out there. One thing, she was never boring and we would talk at the reunions and laugh. What about? Anything! She'll be missed.
Another loss for BCHS.
