

Ronald Franklin Davis (Ron)
March 18, 1945 - February 24, 2022
Ron Davis passed away at home on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Ron grew up in Boulder City, where he attended Boulder City High School and worked in his mother's bakery. He then studied chemistry at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
A Vietnam veteran, Ron cared deeply about Veteran's Issues and served as Post Commander for the American Legion Post No. 8. Ron served as a Yeoman in the U.S. Navy.
After serving in the military, Ron had a career in finance,working many years for Walker Furniture and then pursuing his own business.
Ron most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his family, Ron loved genealogy, the Dallas Cowboys, and his dogs. Passionate about discovering his family roots, after spending years researching our family tree, Ron traced family back to the 1600s. He remained an avid Cowboys fan through good times and bad. A dog lover, Ron always opened his home to one or two lucky dogs. He leaves behind his beloved boxer Halsey.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Dietrich, father Jefferson Davis, sister Karen Davis, and brother Baxter Davis. He will be missed by his surviving family and friends, including sons Jeffry (Kay) Davis of Australia, Matthew Davis of Las Vegas, and daughter Veronica Brundy of Henderson; brother Mike Davis of Tennessee; grandchildren Jasmine Butler of Philadelphia, Arianna Davis of Australia, Shalynn Wittman of Oregon, Liberty Davis of Las Vegas, Truly Davis of Las Vegas, Justice Davis of Las Vegas, and Vinson Brundy of Henderson; nieces Linda Bell of Las Vegas, Heather Danis of Maryland, and Gail Davis of Arizona; and many great nieces and nephews.
