HAROLD STUBBS Harold Jay Stubbs, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully April 12, 2018. He was born May 27, 1938, in Orem, Utah, to Albert Owen and Afton Salisbury Stubbs. Harold served in the U. S.
Army, stationed in Fort Richardson, Alaska. He was a lifelong electrician working with various employers, including The Mirage, in which he worked for 23 years prior to retiring in February 2014. He was a wonderful, devoted husband, father and grandfather. His life centered around his family, who all loved him beyond words. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Glade, Dean, Leonard and Wayne. Harold is survived by his beloved wife, Trudy; daughters, Lori Matyskiel, Tina Sanchez and Krissi Lenox (Micah); grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole, Christian, Dylan, Quinton, Nicholas and Emma; and siblings, Gerald Jerry Stubbs and Velma Darlene Collins. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, with service following, both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6325 W. Hacienda, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Burial will be at 9:20 a.m., Friday, April 20, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
