I will never forget the day the accident happened.  I was probably one of the last to see Tim before he died.  I saw him at Dick's Ace Hardware, right before.  We said a quick hello.  Next thing I knew, he was gone.

His kindness to all, and gentle heart did not go unnoticed.

Some may know this already. Just before the accident I had started getting to know Tim better since my interest was Lalli Smith and his was Suzanne Gadd. Suzanne and Lalli were best friends. When Tim and Scott Sudweeks planned on going 4-wheelin', Tim invited Steve Passey and I to go also. Steve was a little late getting off work and we just missed Tim and Scott at Tim's house. His mom told us where they were headed. We drove all over the mountain looking and gave up. On our way down we were passed by the emergency vehicles headed to the scene. We must have been close but didn't see them off the road. This was the hardest funeral to go to.

His smile and warmth to all. Yes, even his pranks that were always in fun and never meant to hurt are what I miss most. It is now over 35 years later and I think about him everytime I go out in my Jeep Cherokee.

R.I.P. my friend and friend to all...

Tim Williams actually passed in 1979 - not 1978.
