I have many memories with Kenna, most being in Elementary School together at JP Stewart. Kenna and I studied for the school Spelling Bee together and I remember she had a huge Smurf character collection that really impressed me!
Kenna was a great friend, competitor and athlete. I know that she was a wonderful mother and was courageous in her battle with cancer. Much love to her family.
Kenna was my friend since elementry school. We had wild hair together and I remember her singing the "Eye of the Tiger" and she always had such a great voice. Kenna had a free spirit about her. I saw her about a year before she died and I didn't recognize her. I was so happy that she saw me. What a great blessing it was to catch up and hear about each others lives. The main thing we both knew was that we loved our little families. I knew Kenna loved her little boy and her family. We talked about her diagnosis and it was very sad to say goodbye not knowing the outcome of her diagnosis. I went to her funeral and was so uplifted by the wonderful music that was there. That was truly a gift she left everyone. I love her parents, what wonderful people they are. She is in a much better place for her and she is singing her own song...
