Justin Swen Bjorkman 6/17/1977~6/25/2007 Justin Swen Bjorkman was born in Bountiful, UT, to David and Tammy (Smith) Bjorkman, and raised primarily in the same area. He died June 25, 2007 at Spearfish, SD. Justin loved and excelled in sports and academics. He was both intellectual and fun loving. He was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan and a wizard at remembering facts. He loved the art of literature and music, as well as a good game of poker. He was a highly skilled technical mountain climber and a strong backcountry enthusiast. Justin had a passion for debating and supporting his views and beliefs, his wit and sense of humor made him the life of every party and a friend to all that needed one. Justin shared his inner beauty with family and friends as well as strangers. The essence of Justin's character was one of compassion and love. Simply said... knowing Justin, was loving Justin. He was currently employed as a poker dealer at the Silverado in Deadwood. Justin is survived by his father, David Bjorkman, Iris mother Tammy Bjorkman, Durango, CO; sister Candice (Bram) Jenkins, brother, Levi Bjorkman, both of Durango, CO; Iris second mother, Kaitlin Phersson, his daughter, Hanna Bjorkman and special friend, Sara Freng of Belle Fourche, SD. A memorial is being established for the education of his daughter, Hanna. Services were held Friday, June 29th at the Aldinger Funeral Home in Spearfish. Friends attending the service were asked to dress casually. The Aldinger Funeral Home and Crematory of Spearfish, ND assisted the family with the arrangements.
