1977 ~ 2014
Jimmy Tsosie, 37, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Sept 16, 2014. Jimmy was born on Sept 11, 1977 to Ida White and Jim Tsosie, who later divorced. Ida married Kevin White, whom Jimmy regarded as his Dad. Jimmy is one of many brothers and sisters. He was the embodiment of love, light, loyalty, generosity and an infectious positive mindset.
Jimmy has three beautiful children (Tianna, Taeya and Jamin Tsosie) with Eugenia Roskelley. He admired and adored his children; they were the center of his heart and universe. Jimmy was engaged to Kari Isaacson, who has two children, Makenna and Harper, whom he also adored. He had many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly. Jimmy was preceded in death by Colleen Potts ("Gram") on Sept. 2, 2014.
Jimmy lived to love all of his children. He was a gifted and creative carpenter who loved poetry, music, learning, people and nature. Jimmy positively impacted everyone with whom he came in contact. He was the most giving person you could ever hope to know. When Jimmy wasn't helping someone with a project he could be found with his most adored friend and golf partner, Bryan (Jenny) Moss.
A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on Sept. 24, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at West Bountiful Park, 550 West Pages Lane, West Bountiful, UT 84087. Everyone is welcome to join early for a Pot Luck BBQ starting at 5PM. Please bring your own meat and a dish to share. Services will begin at 6:30PM. Jimmy will be missed by all who knew him. There are few people who have the heart and spirit of Jimmy Tsosie; may he rest in peace and protect us from above as he did on earth.
