I can't say that I was really close to Larry. He always seemed like he didn't want people to get too close. At the reunions that I attended I always enjoyed sitting down and talking with him. I had been looking forward to seeing Larry again at the 45th union. The one thing I admired and will remember him for was Jr High gym class. He always out performed and dominated the rest of us. He seemed like a machine running around and that you needed to stay out of the way.
I am so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He was ALWAYS so kind to me. I spent time with him at the last reunion I went to and got such a kick out of all of his stories. He made me laugh over and over and he made me gasp at some of the stories as well. Lar, I carry you in my heart. Thank you for the goodness you passsed my way.
I was saddened to learn of Larry's passing. I first met him in 8th grade at Samuel Ogle and knew him for the rest of high school. We had a couple of classes together and I remember he had a good sense of humor. Rest in peace Larry.
