Dave was sooo much fun at Ogle. I won't name names... but, many of us played our first game of spin the bottle at his house!! Great memories of fun at teen club and after school in the "big field" near Ogle on Old Chapel Road.... you will be missed my friend!!

I will never forget all the fun times we had working at Father Gay 90's. Dave was the best cook they had. We(Rick DeCicco)and I had so much fun double dating with Dave and Diane. Dave was a true friend til the end.

I remember Dave back from Meadowbrook Elementary school. He lived on Millstream Drive, across from the end of my street. One day, he and I went to a friend's house who lived 2 doors down from Dave. Sammy Rosenthal was our friend and he was sick, he hadn't been to school for days. I still remember Dave and I being so confused as to why Sammy couldn't come out to play. A short time later, Dave and I went to visit Sammy again. Sammy's mom stood at her door crying and said Sammy had died. Sammy had a brain tumor. We were all in 2nd grade at the time. Dave and I just didn't understand. Through the years, Dave and I remained friends although we were never that close again. I always found him to be a good person, always willilng to stop and talk/catch up. He was a genuinely good person in every way I know. I also remember when his brother was killed. Too much heartache for any parent to bear. At least in my mind, they are still missed.

Ok so, schleppin dishes at Ninety Gay Fathers, aka FGN, I wheel a busing cart full of half eatin nasty chow from the dining room into the whirling dichotomized air full of the stink from a greasy kitchen where someone just fried another moth in the microwave, and the sweet whafting melodies of Lynyrd Skynyrd cleansing the air...meanwhile Dave is busy chippin away at a glacier sized chunk of frozen scallops which he insists are awesome to eat frozen...I bite, literally, to the amusement of all...I was a towhead til I was about 3...swearta buddha.

Dave was a great guy. I grew up around the corner from him, and I remember actually playing "buck-buck" with him and his brother Ricky - that's the game that Bill Cosby joked about on his "Fat Albert" album - it's a pretty rough game actually, so rough that it's a joke on that album, and we knew it was probably a joke but we were crazy and played it anyway - piling up on top of each like demented football players, we just laughed and had a blast. Dave was a fun guy and his family was so easy going and I loved hanging out with him. Hard to believe he's gone - and his brother Ricky, too, hard to believe.

I hadn't seen Dave's mother in decades until I ran into her at the Bowie Performing Arts Center inaugural gala a few years ago, she recognized me first and the instant she said something, I gave her a hug and spoke of Dave, and she almost cried at the fact that I simply remembered him. Of course I remember him. And if any of you do, you could make her day by contacting her and telling her so - last I saw her, she was still living in the same house on Millstream Drive, near the corner of Manvel.

You should've still been with us Dave. I know I'll be thinking about you at the reunion.
