Jewell died about five years ago. Jewell had a bad car accident 10 years ago and was never the same again. He started to decline after losing his wife (Saundra)to heart disease. The complications of bad health due to the car accident finally took Jewell's life. They have a son, James David Harrison, who resides in Plano, KY.
