Tony Haswell VIEW PROFILE

Anthony “Tony” John Haswell, 52, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at 9:15 p.m. at his residence.

Tony was born July 29, 1960, in London, England. He was preceded in death by his father, John Anthony Haswell.

Tony was owner of Bluegrass Electrical Inc. and attended Hillvue Heights Church. He loved life and especially all of his family and was a friend to all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Crenshaw Haswell; a son, John Thomas Haswell (Lauren) of Scottsville; three stepsons, Terry A. Jones of Smiths Grove, Justin Mills of Chalybeate and Tyler Mills of Bowling Green; mother, Tina De Ruiter Forkum of Alvaton; a sister, Jacqueline Haswell of Alvaton; a brother, Stephen Haswell (Donna Kaye) of Alvaton; two grandsons, Jayden Thomas Haswell and Wyatt Anthony Haswell; a nephew, Blake Haswell, and a niece, McKenzie Haswell, both of Alvaton; his mother-in-law, Bessie Crenshaw of Park City; and an uncle, an aunt and several cousins in England.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home and the family chose cremation.

Tony had been diagnosed with lung cancer in December 2012. He was a fun loving guy, with a lot wit and humor. He will surely be missed by all.
