Lorina Lockwood Metcalf, 50, of Scottsville, died Sept. 26, 2010, at her residence.

The Bowling Green native was born May 29, 1960. She was a cashier for Greenwood Ford, a Baptist and a mother of two. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and a friend to all who knew her, especially her cat, Sam, chickens, rooster and a dog, Scout. She was a daughter of Jim E. Lockwood of Bowling Green, who survives, and the late Chalma Boyd Lockwood.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include her husband, Chris Metcalf; a son, Jimmy Wallace and his wife, Sarah, of Bowling Green; a daughter, Ashley Wallace of Nashville; a stepson, Christopher Brett Metcalf of Gallatin, Tenn.; two brothers, Bruce Lockwood and his wife, Laurie, of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Kevin Lockwood and his wife, Janice, of Bowling Green; a sister, Teresa Tabor and her husband, Robert, of Bowling Green; 4 1/2 grandchildren, Trey Wallace, Will Curtis, Bethany Curtis, Lillie Wallace and Braden Wallace, to be born Dec. 19, 2010; and several nieces and nephews.
