Our classmate & fellow Dragon will be missed by all. This is the obituary in the Bowling Green Daily News.

 

Marty Dwight Lowe, 48, was born Dec. 20, 1960, in Bowling Green, Ky., the son of James and Nelda Pillow-Lowe. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Medical Center. Mr. Lowe was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. He was an outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing, and was known to all as one of overwhelming compassion. Mr. Lowe is survived by one son, Travis Lowe, Bowling Green, Ky.; two brothers, Mike Lowe, Franklin, Tenn., and Brad Lowe and wife Cecily, Birmingham. He is also survived by his parents and four nephews. Visitation will be conducted from 6 to 9 this evening at J.C. Kirby and Sons Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby and Sons Lovers Lane Chapel with Dr. Steve Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Smiths Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Marty Lowe may be made to the American Cancer Society , 952 Fairview Ave.,Bowling Green, KY 42101.

I was so shocked to get on the website and see that
Marty had died. I don't know how I missed this. Marty was such a fine person and had such a great personality. May God bless his family.
