Willy Leslie is serving in Irag until Novemember. I want to send a care package to him from our class of '94. You can drop of items at Greer Insurance in town (via Barrett Howard) or contact me and I can pick up your items. We will be collecting items for the care package for about a month and then I will send them. Please keep all items clean and appropiate (even though we all know Willy would rather have something inappropriate) and keep in mind his needs in Irag. Email me if you have any questions m.tina00@gmail.com
Thanks guys and hope to hear from you alll soon!

Good thinking T., I was wanting to do this around Chrstmas for Willy and Corey and I never sent out the packages. Corey's already home (Sorry Corey!)but I still have the stuff so I will be sure and drop it all off @ Barrett's office. Let me know if you need help w/the shipping. :0)

I agree its a wonderful idea. I was thinking we might be sending alot of the samethings. Maybe people could post what they are sending. Lord knows he don't need 30 things of tooth paste. Well... come to think of it maybe he does and if he can't use them all then other guys and gals might. Anyways I just don't want a bunch of us to send alot of the same things when there are other things he would need or rather have. Just a thought!

Willy's wife emailed me and said he would love to get food...Doritos, slim jims, beef jerky, etc. Also wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and pictures! She said he loves pictures, of sunsets or anything. Also if you have kids, he loves letters from kids! She suggested not to send anything homemade because it takes a total of 2 weeks to actually get to him (it'll mold). Little Debbies are a great idea. She said he'll be so, so excited to hear from us at all and all this other stuff will just be a bonus. I hope we can do this up big guys! Can't wait to hear from you all.

Love the f$@#ing site, Steve - make mine a Miller Lite. We've been gathering a lot of things for the military at River City Bank and sending out soon - I will make sure some are directed toward Willy.

I have donated items through this organization for a few years.

http://www.americansnipers.org/items.html

Copy and paste the link. Alot of items on the list are common for all soldiers, not just snipers. I posted this for those who are not sure what to send could get some idea's for Willy

I will get some items together. I will be back in Kentucky May 7th. I can drop the stuff off at Barrett's work. If thats not to long to wait to send the class care package.

I can tell you from my experience (3 deployments to Iraq/Afghanistan) anything Willy gets will put a smile on his face. It can be very simple...just a hand written note that you are thinking of them. Here are a couple of ideas...gum, current magazines (that he would read...no good housekeeping please), a good paperback book, can of cashews...

I hope all of you are doing well...I was deployed for the last reunion, I hope to make it to the next one. If you end up in the Seattle area, please drop me a line.

I am so glad to see that more people are getting on the site. It is good to see where everyone ended up and how life is going for them. I was suprised to see how many people still live around here and I never see them. I went to the ten year reunion and it was a blast, can't wait for the 15. Take care everyone.
