Fresh out of high school I joined a law firm in Upper Marlboro, working for Gene Pitrof, who was fresh out of law school. We burned the law candles many days and as Gene's private secretary I was blessed to have this wonderful man teach me much about most aspects of law. I took many legal and accounting courses and enjoyed over 16 years as a paralegal in the law office. I worked for Congressman Tom Feeney in Florida as a Paralegal. Marc, Annette and I moved to Florida in 1976 and I started investing in real estate then decided to acquire a Florida Real Estate License. Since that time I have both personally invested in real estate and have represented buyers and sellers in the State. I raised my two children alone for many years and have one beautiful granddaughter who turned 18 this year. My My, how time flys!
Due to being a single mom for many years, sorry to say that I have not stayed in touch with many from Brandywine. Also, always felt it took me so long to get out of there, I didn't want to look back after graduation. Guess at this ole age that was the wrong decision. It would have been great to have any of you as friends over all these many years.
As I read through this wonderful web site, so many fond memories come to mind. All of you were unique and we were so fortunate to spend so many years of our lives together in school. Many of us started in first grade together. Remember Ms. Bacon?
One of my favorite saying is "Never, Never Give Up!" I know it's not too late to renew our friendships.
