Riley, and I always wanted to join the Navy together. We both made it, but we never got to serve in the same areas. He was always joking about the time we borrowed his brother's old Navy uniform, and he got me to dress up in it before we were even out of school. Some classmates saw me in it, and he had them all convinced that I had quit school, and joined the Navy. It was a hard story to live down, so I went over and joined the Naval Reserve in Terre Haute.
