Oh my gosh, I was shocked and saddened to receive the notification of the addition of Cyd to the In Memory for Class of 71. Cyd was a huge part of our class, and while I've been away from Bremerton ever since graduation, she's always remained a part of my fonder memories of high school! Rest peacefully, Cyd.
So sorry to hear the news. Glad she is out of her pain but wish she wasn't so ill to begin with and would be able to enjoy her family and friends longer. Cyd, you are beautiful and won't be forgotten.
I'd like to acknowledge Cydni for all the hard work she and the reunion team did for the 40th class reunion. Without her work, and this web site her husband set up, a lot of us wouldn't be in touch today.
So sorry to hear about Cyd . My e-mail ended up in spam and I didn't see It until llast night. I've known Cyd since grade school. She was such a warm, fun loving person and gave so much to our class and was instrumental in the sucess of all our reunions. She will be terribly missed by many. Love you Cyd I know there's a special place in heaven for you. RIP .

Cydni Lee Ryen, mother, sister, and nana died May 20. Born in Bremerton, Cyd lived in Hawaii, Montana, and Arkansas while stationed as a nurse in the Air Force.
Quick with wit and laughter, Cyd loved spending time in her garden and enjoying a jump in the lake on a hot summer’s day.
She will be remembered for her expert sewing skills, schooling everyone at Trivial Pursuit, and her perfect pie crusts.
Cyd is survived by daughters Ryen Joyce (Kyle) and Lee Larson (Sandy), sisters Vicki and Dee Dee, and grandsons Nathan and Erik.
