In Memory

Eugene "Allen" Battin

Eugene Allen Battin of Bremerton

July 11, 1952- Oct. 27, 2009

Veteran

He is survived by his wife Linda of 38 years. Also leaving behind daughter Bonnie Steinkraus of Iowa, oldest son Nicholas of Poulsbo and son Travis of Bremerton, 4 grandchildren, brothers John and Don, sisters Roberta and Ann. He has gone to be with his parents Forrest and Dorothy Battin and his brother Bob who preceded him in death.

He graduated from West Bremerton High School in 1971. After graduation he entered the Army from 1971-1974, where he became a Ranger and an electrician.

He went on to provide for his family by giving 33 years at PSNS as a master electrician. He was a very kind, caring and intelligent man who gave so much to all who knew him. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, all around friend and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Gene enjoyed looking at all his trees, working on cars, watching his Clint Eastwood movies and playing Tug-O-War with his best dog Jack!

Rest In Peace, Gone but always remembered
