Terry Fox - Manchester

Dec 31, 1952 - March 15, 2003

Terry E. Fox, 40, of Manchester died of a brain aneurysm at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.  He was born in Colville, Washington to Alex And L. Jean (Bailey) Fox.  He graduated from West High School in Bremerton in 1971.  Mr Fox served in the Marine Corps from 1972 to 1980 achieving the rank of sergeant.  He later owned and operated convenience stores and gas stations in Kitsap County.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing.  Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Jean and Al Cooper of Manchester; three daughters, Alisa Fox of Seattle, Ashley Fox of Bremerton and Alex Fox of Poulsbo;  four brothers, Craig Fox of Glendora, CA, Jeff Fox of Springdale, Ark. and Brent Fox and Mike Cooper, both of Port Orchard; two sisters, Kristie Olsen of Redmond and Cindy Hinds of Huntington Beach, CA. and one grandson, Nathan Fox.  His father preceded him in Death.

Terry attended the 20th reunion and wrote: "I spent 6 years in the U.S. Marine corps then worked 7 years as a federal eployee.  I have been on disability retirement since 1984.  My wife, Billie and i have children, Alisa, age 8, Ashley, age 7, and Alexandria, age 5.  I enjoy fishing and hunting.
