Jeanette Ione (Heacock) Kingsley, 56, of Camano Island, Washington, passed away August 29, 2009 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanette was born February 19, 1953 in Bremerton to Howard and Vonda (Senn) Heacock. On November 30, 1973 Jeanette married Michael Kingsley in Seattle.
She graduated from West High School in Bremerton in 1971, and later attended Bellevue Community College, graduating with a nursing degree. Jeanette worked as a pediatric Registered Nurse at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, until retiring in 1998.
Jeanette loved camping, boating, and four wheel drive activities with her family. She regularly volunteered in her children's activities including Campfire Girls, Scouting, and sports. She will always be known for her warm smile and nurturing spirit by her family and friends, and by the families of the tiny patients she lovingly cared for during her time at Children's.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Michael Kingsley, daughter Sara (Michael) Johnson, son Adam (Shae) Kingsley, son Cameron Kingsley, granddaughters Leah and Holly Johnson, her sister Connie (Ron) Simonis, and her parents. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Hoving.

Jeanette attended the 20th Reunion and wrote: I moved to Seattle in 1972 and married Michael in '73. We have children Sara, age 16, and Cameron age 9 mos. I currently work at Children's Hospital as a Registered Nurse. My hobbies are four - wheeling, off-road racing, camping, and my family.
