Steve was a wonderful, caring and generous man who loved his family above all else. He had served in the Submarine service of the Navy as a nuclear engineering technician for 22 years, before retiring at the destinguished rank of Master Chief. After retiring from the navy 2004, Steve was employed by Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power plant as an Senior Reactor Operator Instructor. His intelligence and hard-working ethic were only matched by his humility and quiet,good nature. At the time of Steve's death, his father was fighting a battle with cancer. In the 18 months following Steve's tragic accident, the family has endured the passings of his father, Richard, his brother, Richard, and his mother, Carolyn, all from cancer. Those of us who love Steve, hope that he will be remembered by all that knew him as an amazing man that is sorely missed. Sincerely, Patricia Dille
