Attended EMVTI night classes while driving a chemical or petroleum trailer trucks and working at a small used car dealership. I then worked my life time, in the Trailer Truck Dealership industry. My job was to make Rich Men even richer through Profits. But my profit was getting to know the hard working truck drivers, Owner / Operators and small business men. The Rich Man's dollar bills may come and go but a truckers friendship and handshake I will always Know! Honk Honk.

Thank you for posting Howard's obituary. This is sad news to hear. Howard and I had lost touch over the years, but after High School we rode motorcycles together quite a bit. Rest in peace Howard.

Ode to a life well lived and a soul set free. Loose the earthly bonds and may your spirit soar on angel wings.

I lost contact with Howard after high school, but it was great to see him at the 30th Reunion.  I first met Howard and other future classmates at Brewer's music summer school program.  That fall, we became members of the junior high band, and later on the high school band.  Howard was one of our best trumpet players, but what I will remember most was his humor, friendship, and positive outlook, which he carried with him throughout his life.

1983, Wichita Kansas, Dwight D. Eisenhower airport, smoking room, I'm sitting there having a smoke between flights and guy next to me says hi phil.  Howard is a good friend and we did a lot of stupid shit during high school, 4 cases of beer on a motorcycle, partys that lasted for weekends, you know, stuff normal kids do. A great pal and good man gone to soon

I am so sorry to see this. The only reason I was at the 30th reunion is because I saw Howard the morning of the reunion at a mutual friend's place of business. I said I wasn't going, he said he wasn't going. And then changed his mind and said if you go, I'll go. His wife didn't want to go because she wouldn't know anyone and had tried to talk him into going any way. So we both changed our mind and ended up there and so glad we did. Howard was kind and funny and I'm thankful for this memory of him, RIP.
