Tom, you were a very good friend in our junior and senior years and a welcoming person when I first transferred from New York. When I remember the Golden Falcons football team, you come to mind.  May you rest in peace, and your family have only fond memories.

Tom was a great guy.  Always laughing, liked by all who knew him, and a superior athlete across 3 sports.  He will be sorely missed.

It seems Heaven needed a right side tackle, Tom. Hopefully no left side tackles are needed any time soon. Remembering our battling in practice, supporting each other in games, your good nature and sense of humor, I’m saddened to hear of your passing. God bless you. Rest in peace, my friend.

Rest in peace Tommy Colo! Tom was a great athlete and good friend. Best athlete in our class in my opinion, Football captain, basketball player and track star. Also a very humble and kind person with an outgoing personality. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

It is hard to believe Tom is gone. I had breakfast with him a few months back and while we talked about his illness his incredibly strong spirit and positive attitude came through. I so appreciated Tom's friendship and his willingness to follow his heart. He was comfortable being out of the mainstream, and today's world it often feels like they don't make them like Tom very often anymore. Tom was always very open-minded and told me that Yoga was really helpful to him as he managed his struggles. He lived in Boulder for many years and loved the outdoors. As his neighbor and friend for many years, he will be missed!
