Sue came to BRHS West at the beginning of our last school year (1969 - 1970). I met her in home room that year. We became friends. She was part of the group of girls (which included Kari Andresen, Marilyn Peley and Pam Pfromm) who got together very regularly for slumber parties during that year. We continued to keep in touch for several years after graduating until she married and moved away to northern NJ. As I recall, her husband didn't care for her to keep in touch with us.
Sue found me on Classmates.com several years ago and sent me a message. We began to e-mail back and forth. Then, all of a sudden, I stopped getting e-mails from her. I continued to e-mail for awhile but finally gave up. According to her obit, she and her husband moved from Connecticut to Indiana so I'm guessing that's when we lost touch.
While Sue was only a part of my life for a very short time, she and I enjoyed some great times together during the last year of high school and those first few years after high school. I have a picture of her and I at one of our slumber parties; I'm sure that I'll be checking it out tonight and remembering the good times we had together.
