Judy A. Fisco, Post Office Supervisor

MANVILLE Judy A. (Tamburelli) Fisco, 50, lost her 

courageous battle with cancer on Saturday (April 1, 2006)

at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Somerville,

Judy lived in Highland Park before moving to Manville in 1993.

Judy was supervisor of delivery and collection for the United 

States Post Office for 21 years, with the last three years being at

the Manville Post Office. Judy was a devoted communicant of

St. Mary's Church in Bound Brook. She was president of the 

St. Mary's Rosary Society and a Team Captain for the Relay for 

Life Cancer Walk in Manville. Judy was a kind and caring person

who had a great devotion to her church and her family and her

friends. She will be fondly remembered by those who knew her. 

She was predeceased by her mother, Doris Tamburelli. Judy leaves

behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 19 years, 

Don Fisco of Manville; sons, Donnie Fisco and Dion Fisco, both of

Manville; Joseph Tamburelli of Bridgewater, brother, Joseph Tamburelli

of Mount Holly; a sister, Joyce Zydallis of Bridgewater; father-in-law

Jack Fisco and mother-in-law Joan Fisco, of Columbus; sisters-in-law, 

Jacqueline Fisco of Roselle Park and Diane Folnagy of Somerset, brother-

in-law Jack Fisco of Jim Thorpe, nephew, Jesse Zydallis of Manassas, 

Va.; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Cookie Bedosky. 

Prayers will be offered at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bridgewater 

Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater, with funeral Mass to follow

at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Bound Brook. Judy will be laid to rest

at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Judy will be in repose 2 to 4 p.m.

and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial

contributions may be made to Donnie Fisco and Dion Fisco College Fund. 

Memorial will be provided at the funeral home.
