AGE: 57 FORMERLY OF BRIDGEWATER
Kenneth J. "Ken" Longo, 57, of Bushkill Township, PA, formerly of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Carol A. (Schwar) Longo, with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage last November 15th. Born in Somerville, NJ, on February 13, 1953, he was a son of the late Anthony and June (Gearl) Longo. Ken was a graduate of Bridgewater East High School, class of 1971. He worked as an HVAC technician for 40 years at several firms in the Lehigh Valley, as well as in Central New Jersey. Ken loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a life-member of the Point Phillips Rod and Gun Club, where he was a past vice president and trustee of the club. Additionally, he was the founder and most proud of the club's Kids' Fishing Contest.
In addition to his loving wife, Carol, he is survived by two daughters, Victoria A. Longo of Nazareth and Kimberly M. Longo at home; two brothers, Danny Longo and his wife, Jan of Lebanon, NJ, and Larry Longo and his wife, Cookie of Bridgewater, NJ; and nieces and nephews.
A public viewing for friends and relatives will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010, from 11:00 to 2:00pm in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Dr., Route 946 Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Point Phillips Rod and Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, Bath, PA 18014.
