I met Diane the first day of my Junior year after moving to Bridgewater from Dunellen. We had the same schedule so i was with her every day. We soon became close friends and through Diane I met Jane Keich Wynn and Nancy Praznoski and became a flag twirler. We lost touch for a while when I went out-of-state for college, but eventually we reunited and she became my best friend. She was always there for me, during the highs and lows, and believe me, there were lows. Her husband Bob was great too. He and I planned various business ventures together. They never became a reality but it was fun to plan. In Dunellen I was headed in a bad direction but my new friends in Bridgewater set me on a much better path by association.
I always say Diane is my 'once in a lifetime friend' because I could never get that lucky again. I miss her terribly.
