Johns death was a very sad time. Saying goodbye to our childhood. It hurt my heart to see his dear family in so much pain! I'll always remember John & Brent teasing us girls on the merry-go round in grade school. He had the cutest smile...I can't believe it's been almost 10 years ago!

John James Braegger, 29, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born November 17, 1969 in Brigham City, a son of John Brent Braegger and Marie Burbank Braegger Pitzak. John was a lifelong resident of Willard. He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked as a mechanic. John's hobbies included hunting, motorcycling, snowmobiling and playing on the farm with Grandpa. Surviving are his fiancé, Kari; son, Brady, and three-month-old son, Connor James; his father, John Brent (Bonnie) Braegger, West Bountiful; his mother, Marie (Bill) Pitzak, South Ogden; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Burbank, Brigham City; one sister, Lorie L. Braegger-Holbert, Ogden; one niece, Trisha Marie, and one nephew, John Riley. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Betty Braegger. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Willard Cemetery.Jennie Smith (Drollinger)
