I knew Charlie since I was 6 years old. Charlie, Mike Rulseh and I lived within a block of each other and were friends all through grade school and into high school. I remember Charlie being an end on the football team. we teased him by calling him 'hands' because he had trouble catching the ball. I especially enjoyed Charlie's sense of humor and always being cheerful. Just before he died we were able to have some phone conversations and get caught up on our separate paths. I miss my friend!
Hi i knew of Charlie. He was in his own little click in school. Yes Dave Thorp,Jon Emmer and Charlie Hendricks. When you tried to talk to the three amigos they would shun you off. Well before Jon died he was at least waving and saying hi to me. I thought i guess you are just the same as i am and you wipe your ass the same way. so those are my memories of the THREE AMIGOS. shirley
I am sorry to read that Charlie passed away. My recollection is that he was part of the band "Zachary". I recall him as tall, thin and quiet. I hope he's resting in peace.
Who fill ever forget all those years with Charlie as the drummer in Zachary!!! Those were some fun times. Something special about Charlie....he gave me my first kiss when I was in 8th grade...and it was a mushy one too!!! He left us way to young......hope he's having fun drumming in Heaven.
