Walter "Wally" A. Rosenthal Jr.

53, of Brillion, passed away at his home on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born in Kaukauna on July 4, 1960, son of the late Walter and Theresa (Arnoldussen) Rosenthal Sr. Wally graduated from Brillion High School in 1979 and worked at Brillion Iron Works for 20 years. Wally was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying: hunting, fishing and creating many memories at the family cabin in Athelsteen. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends at the K & J Tavern in Brillion and the occasional trip to the Casinos.

He will be greatly missed by his sisters: Marylynn Harper, West Bend, and Marcia (Alvin) Beyer, Greenleaf; brothers: Edward (Annette), Appleton and Paul (Anita), Greenville; Nieces and Nephews: Matthew, Lisa, Christopher, Jessica, Kristina, Curtus, Stephanie, Madison and Joshua.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Joseph; brother-in-law Tom Harper and niece Charleen Dvorak.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N. Oneida St, Appleton. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
