In 1988, 12 or 15 of us took off in four or five cars heading for the beach. I rode with Kenny Pennington and Renee Clark. When we got to I-77 we headed north to WV. So we turned around, five miles or so and headed south. I still don't know to this day who was leading us. Can somebody tell or fess up.

Willie, I don't remember seeing you at the beach; did you guys go down to Myrtle immediately after graduation? We did. It was me, Lara Smith, Kristin Siegfried & Neena Campbell. We stayed at the good ole Twilight Surf and I remember a bunch of JSB people stayed at the Fredrick. We we up to visit at the Fredrick but I don't remember seeing you guys..........clue me in.

That's what I get for being a newbie that year...OMG William, I had no idea you and Tracey were twins, let alone siblings! That is so cool to know!

Actually, over twenty of us were at the FredRick. I can't remember who was in the lead of our five or six car caravan when we turned the wrong way on 77 towards West Virginia.

I do remember us all stopping to have lunch at the Iron Skillet truck stop restaurant right before that happened though - because it became a tradition on every beach trip I went on for the next three years. I went on several trips with Jeff Hall and some other people, and we always had to stop there for lunch because we ate there at the beginning of our senior beach trip.

Kelly Little (Huffstetler)

I was in that caravan but I don't remember getting lost and having to turn around. I do remember how greasy the food was at the Iron Skillet and still think about it every time I pass it! I think I was riding with Rob- could he have been the lead car?

I remember the drive home much more clearly because I had to drive Will Mullin's car home. I think he may have been suffering a bit too much from all the "fun" we had:)

I do recall seeing several JSB peeps up at the Fredrick when we visited you guys there on the senior beach trip. Lets see, I remember seeing Kelly, Jeff Clark, Eugenia, Dion and I thinks that it. Then we had a party in our room one night & a bunch of JSB peeps came but the only ones I remember coming were Kelly & Eugenia. My memory has grown foggy over the years, lol! We mostly hung out with VHS grads that trip though. When I was down at Myrtle Beach last week, we went by both the Fredrick & the Twilight Surf. Brought back tons of funny memories!

Yes Deanna we went down immediately. My home that week was the Fredrick. The reason you did not see me is because I was hanging out on the beach by day. By night I was working as a cage dancer at Mother Fletcher's. To Kelly, thanks for the tip. I thought it was Rob, no offense.

Let me set the record straight right now. I was not driving when we headed to WVa. Any suggestion that I was is slander! I don't remember who was responsible for the wrong turn, but it wasn't me! Was Jeffie driving a car? Let's blame it on him. I *was*, however, responsible for nearly getting all of us killed by the trucker who thought I called his truck a piece of $h!+ on the CB. Really I was calling the K a piece, since the driver's door was just barely hanging on from its run in with the Frye's mailbox a few days before. To the day I die I'll never forget his words, "I can blow you away so far into the weeds nobody will ever find you." I was SO JEALOUS that you got to drive Will's car, Kelly! UGH it kills me to this day. I'd have left the K at the beach for a chance to drive it home! I remember on the ride home Brady accidentally burned holes in the headliner of my car with his cigarette. It took me all weekend to get another one at a junk yard and get it installed. Deanna, I think the reason you don't remember seeing me at the beach was because most of the day I was entrenched in a room with the blinds drawn, trying to keep out the daylight, like a vampire, and wasn't accepting visitors. You probably didn't see Will because, most of the time, he was yelling "Earl" into the porcelain telephone because of some "bad medicine". You didn't see Donna because she was probably recovering from sacrificing 1/2 of her eyebrow to the corner of the bedside table. You probably didn't see Brady or Tracey because they were out on the beach playing "lets pretend we're strangers who have just met". Does anyone else remember the Va High dudes blowing up their toilet and flooding the floor below us? Wasn't the story that they shot bottle rockets into it?

Actually, it was just the Blazer that Kelly (and I think Kevin King) shared driving duties on while we were returning to Virginia. I didn't take the Grand National on that trip. Remember, Donna parked the Blazer in front of someone's driveway behind the motel, and it was towed. I had to go into the Myrtle Beach Police Station looking like I crawled out from under a rock to get it out of the impound lot.

I do remember Rob driving the Grand National back from a trip to Radford one weekend though, during freshman year at Emory & Henry.

LOL oh yeah, that's right, it was the Blazer. Hm, not so jealous anymore.

Shortly after she got your Blazer towed, she disappeared in the K with Tracey I think for about 6 hours. I was sure they'd be found floating face down in the ocean somewhere. If the sunlight wouldn't have blown out my retina, I might have gone looking for them.

I remember driving your GN back from Radford that one time. I had a brief race with someone; I think it was Brady in Tracey's little black 4cyl Dodge. Anyway, it wasn't much of a "race".

I already emailed Leon Stanley the website many weeks ago and saw him later and he confirmed that he got it. Don't know why he hasn't responded.

My thoughts are that you must not remember what the last house looked like after many of us were at a party together at it.

Keep me updated on that Dennis. I will try to stop by at some point if you decide to do it.

I see my call to Charity months back worked, she signed up today. I also shot a message via myspace to Hope and Shon. Still on the lookout for any other classmates that are still on the unknown list.

Yeah, Dennis - the last house had fireworks provided by Jody Chapman. Tackle football, without a football in all rooms. A shotgun made its way into the picture somehow, but was never fired, I should add. And the house probably decreased in value 10%, or so. On second thought, let me know who will be there. I might be scared to........

Yea... I may give some people the wrong directions!!!!! lol OR maybe I need to have the police there to keep things under control. I'll have them stair at you with their hand on their gun, all night long! Ha!
