Kevin Lavey

LAVEY Kevin M. Lavey, age 46, of Brockton died Saturday, June 15, 2013 after a long battle with addiction. He was the loving son of Bob and Marion (Bickford) Lavey of West Bridgewater. Born in Boston and raised in Brockton, he was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1984. For over 25 years, Kevin had been employed as a Glass Cutter for various companies. He was currently employed by the Glazier Union, Local 1044. Kevin was outgoing with a great sense of humor and enjoyed time with his family and friends and working out. He was always available to help others and was an active mentor and speaker at Narcotics Anonymous meetings. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Joanne Lavey and her longtime boyfriend Dave Dikmak of Brockton, and brother Rob Lavey and his wife Maria (Fraccastoro) Lavey of Brockton. He was the uncle of Michael, Jake and Leah Lavey and also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late Michael J. Lavey. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Route 123) BROCKTON Friday 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M.. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Saturday at 8:00 A.M. for a funeral mass in Christ the King Church at 9:00 A.M.. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
