Obituary

Larry Billue, age 75 passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on July 29th, 2023.

Larry was born February 26, 1948, to Burl Billue and Cora (Benson) Billue In Broken Arrow, OKHe was the seventh of eight children. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1966.

Larry met the love of his life, Janice Hall, while attending Tulsa Business College. In September of1968, they were married. Janice entered this marriage with two daughters, Jessie and Irene. Andthen to their union was born a son, Jason.

At the time of their marriage they resided in Sand Springs, where he began his life long career inthe glass industry. In 1976 they moved to Catoosa, where he continued his career until hisretirement in 2006. He remained at that residence until his passing.

Larry was the loving caregiver of his wife until her passing in December of 2022. He enjoyedspending time with his family, giving his grandchildren and great grandkids rides on his tractor.He loved hosting 4th of July, watching OU football games, going to the Pawnee Steam Engineshow and tractor pull with his brother, and giving popsicles to his grandkids.

He is survived by his three children, Jessie Heidorn and husband, Joel of Broken Arrow, Irene Gayand husband, Bill of Cushing, Jason Billue of Owasso. Also survived by siblings, Doris Caldwell andhusband, Dennis, Bob Billue and wife, Deloris, and Steve Billue. Larry is also survived by 11grandchildren, Ben, Amanda, Michael, Ashley, Amber, Damon, Mikaela, Mathew, Mitchell, Justin and Kayden, 13 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Janice, parents Burl and Cora Billue, siblings Hazel Raibourne,Opal Faye Pestel, Ray Billue, and Richard Billue, and great grandson, Lennox Collins.
