Obituary for Edward Karr
Services honoring the life of Edward Duward “Eddie” Karr will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family there to receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Eddie was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 27, 1947 to Arthur and Eloise (Phillips) Karr. Eddie passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 70.
Eddie graduated from Broken Arrow High School with the class of 1966 and then attended college for one year. He proudly served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. During his years of service in the Army Eddie earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his notable efforts. Back at home, Eddie worked for Borg Steel Recycling as a sorter.
Eddie was a wonderful father, grandfather, son and brother. He adored his family and loved spending time with them. In his spare time, Eddie loved riding motorcycles.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father Arthur.
