Funeral services for Claudia Jane Phillips will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery in Salina, OK. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 1-8 p.m.

Claudia died Thursday, Sept.13, 2007, in Tulsa at the age of 59.

The daughter of Jesse Phillips, Jr. and Katherine Marie (Jones) was born June 23, 1948 in Tulsa. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1967 and went on to attend cosmotology School. Claudia worked at St. Johns Hospital. She married Dr. David Green and was a medical assistant for him. Claudia was an avid supporter of Relay For Life as well as any charity that served the needs of disadvantaged children. Her passion was her family, homeless people, and any stray animal.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, children; Nicky, Jesse, Anna Marie, Hope Ann, baby boy Green, and nephew, Michael T.

She is survived by friend and former husband, Dr. David Green of Muskogee, daughter, Shannon and Husband Steven Dyer of Ft. Gibson, sister Peggy and husband Michael Hewitt of Broken Arrow, grandchildren, Kevin David Kost, Nickolas Sebastian Ross, and Cherokee Heather Marie Ross; nephew, Gunner Hewitt; niece, Elizabeth McElroy; grand-niece, Peyton Chill, and great-nephews, Camron and Owen McElroy all of Broken Arrow.
