Sandra Kay Watts, longtime resident of Broken Arrow, entered her Heavenly home on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 73. She was born on Thursday, November 6, 1947, to Max and Lillian (Smith) Wilson in Chickasha, Oklahoma. After graduating from Broken Arrow High School in 1966, Sandra attended Tulsa Business School. On Saturday, August 1, 1970, Sandra married the love of her life, Roy Watts, in Broken Arrow. She worked for the University of Oklahoma while putting Roy through college. Sandra began working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 1979 and retired from ODOT in 2009. Sandra was an avid knitter. Her family recalls that it was unusual for Sandra to not have a set of knitting needles in her hands! She loved to watch murder mysteries on television if they were not too gruesome. Sandra loved spending time with family – especially her grandchildren. 

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Lillian (Smith) Wilson. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Roy, of the home; daughter Rebecca Sisson and her husband, Martin, of Broken Arrow; son Doyle Watts and his wife, Patricia, of Payson, Utah; grandchildren Martin Sisson, Jr. and his wife, Colleen, of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Audra Sisson of Broken Arrow; great-grandson Slater Sisson of Broken Arrow; brother Max Wilson of Broken Arrow; sister Hollye Moore and her husband, Jerry, of Prue, Oklahoma; a host of nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends. Sandra will be missed by all who knew her.
