Went to OSU for 2 years then transferred to Southwester State in Weatherford. Graduated from SWSC Dec 1974. Worked in OKC for a year then took a job in Seminole. I have been in the Shawnee Seminole area ever since then. Owned Star Pharmacy in Shawnee from 1980 to 1989 then bought Bestyet Pharmacy in 1989 and still own and operate it.
We have two children. Adam in Dallas and Meagen is in her second year at Oklahoma State. She is a proud member of the OSU Cowboy Marching Band. We are all big OSU fans and have had season tickets to football and basketball for many years now.
We are expecting our first grandchild in Feburary. It will not be spoiled in the least bit!!
I sold my pharmacy to Homeland Grocery stores last July and working for them now. Seems kind of strange working for someone else after all these years of owning your own business and doing what you want, but kind of liking it. Now only have to show up and do my work and go home. No staying late to pay bills and paper work and problems of owning your own business.
Went scuba diving in roatan honduras last November. Me and a friend that I met in chemistry lab at OSU and went to pharmacy school together go somewhere every year like that. It is so pretty and peaceful under the water. Not for sure where we are going this year. We are wanting to go to Hawaii--Greece--and Australia before too long.
Kelton-our grandson--and only grandchild--is growing up fast. He turned a year old in February. Now walking all over the place.
I still get to BA about 2 times a month or so. We still have my parents house on Main Street there. I come up to take care of the yard and check on things. If you see a gray ranger p/u or gray 06 mustang gt in the drive stop by and say hi.
