I don't know anything about Karen's death but I will always remember her sweetness in life. High School memory. Always the same kind girl.... every day. She set the example of gentleness.
Karen married Dennis Johnson, BAHS class of 1968. Funny, her older sister, Diane married his older brother. I believe they lived in Dallas. Karen fought diabetes all of her adult life and I was told she died of diabetes complications.
Karen and I were more than classmates we were neighbors as well. I have so many memories of us as young girls..you see Karen and her family were our neighbors both in Tulsa and then in Broken Arrow. So we literally grew up together. I will forever miss her. She was so soft spoken and sweet. I am diabetic myself and I know she suffered with the disease. R.I.P. NEIGHBOR..FRIEND..CLASSMATE!
