Betty was a wonderful grade school friend. I remember many fond afternoons at her house we would always include her sister Bobbie in our playhouse. Her mother was also kind and always had snacks for us. Just could not stand to see no rose by her name. We lost her much to early in life. Bessie

Betty's brother Gary was kind enough to give me some information about Betty. She had 2 daughters and 4 granddaughters. Betty worked at Williams Companies as an oil leasing agent. Betty had a twin sister Bobbie. On the day of Bobbie's funeral Betty was having some speech problems, not knowing that she was ill.She passed away about 30 days after Bobbie. Both girls had malignant brain tumors.

Betty Martin (Gerber)

Betty was one of my best friends in junior high and early high school. We lived across the street from each other, and she was born 2 days after I was in the BA hospital. I lost touch with her following graduation, which is a shame. Thank you, Linda, for finding out about her illness. I was shocked to see the death announcement in the paper. I remember going to her family dairy farm on East Kenosha when we were in junior high. The BAX cut it in half, and they had to drive their tractor through a tunnel to access the north part. In case anyone has forgotten, the farm was located about where RCB is now. Betty definitely passed too soon.
