She passed away on February 16, 2020 in Tulsa at the age of 67. Linda grew up and attended school in Broken Arrow. She moved to Salina where she lived for many years. She married Wayne Mabe on August 31, 1992 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They built a home in Pryor 7 years ago; Wayne preceded her in death in 2017. Linda’s bright personality followed her everywhere she went and she never met a stranger. She loved shopping, playing Bingo, cooking, spending time with her family and going on cruises and was a member of the American Legion, Women’s Auxiliary, in Salina, for many years. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be greatly missed by everyone who shared in her life. She is survived by her two children, Rodney Godwin and wife Stefanie of Pryor and Jana Garner of Claremore; 3 grandchildren, Riley Garner of Locust Grove, Kassie Kyle of Broken Arrow and Konnor Godwin of Pryor; sister, Patricia Clarke and husband Paul of Mansfield, Texas and brother Bob Steward and wife Gwen of Salina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Trisha Steward.
