David Henry Matheny was born June 23, 1952, in Tulsa, OK. On June 28, 2017, our precious Daddy peacefully went to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Forbes, Jr. and Lillian Jeanette Hauth Matheny, and a sister, Jean Ann Matheny.
David was a talented machinist and welder with remarkable artistic talent, and a passion for photography and telescopes. A published photographer, his urban photography and astrophotos adorn many walls. His wit, creativity and skill will be fondly remembered.
He is survived by his daughters, DeAnn and Patricia Matheny; aunt, Patricia Matheny; uncle, Jerry and Kathy Hauth; siblings: Trey and Maureen Matheny, Sam and Diana Matheny, Jill and Rodney Flowers, Ellen and Nick Moyers, Hank Matheny, Pat and Tonya Matheny, Tom and Jamie Matheny.
Lord we thank you for the storm, and as the storm passes, we look forward to the rainbow; your promise to us. Amen.
