Ok everyone, I'm looking at dates for the 2010 reunion. I don't have kids so I need some input on what time of year is best.

Please don't post the answers here. Send me email directly to julia.wright@gmail.com or a lot of you have found me on Facebook too. Either place will work.

I will send updates and posts regarding the reunion through this site as well as Facebook and will be planning a trip to Tulsa after the first of the year.

I will give you guys plenty of notice and will invite anyone who wants to participate in planning the reunion to come to a planning meeting. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Please let me know what you think about dates.

Thanks, Julie Wright

For those of you who also attended Lynnwood Elementary, you might remember "Mrs. Brown". She was one of the teacher's aides, also known as the cafeteria lady who worked with Mrs. Moore. They were the ones who made sure you ate your lunch, helped you open your pudding, praying to God you didn't cut your tongue on the metal lid (yes this was before the plastic cups with the foil top).

Anyhow, my mom, Mrs. Brown is very ill with Leukemia and has only a few months to live per the doctors. I am asking those of you who remember my mom to post something that you remember about her and or how she touched your life. My mother never crossed anyone that I know of and she always loved the students!

So please, make a post here, or email me your thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement. I will print them off and give them to her to help her through this tough time. We are not giving up hope or faith! Let's give back the love to her that she has given to us.

If you have siblings or friends that also went to Lynnwood, please forward this information to them so they can share their stories.

Thanks and God Bless!

On a positive note, if you are looking for a BAHS gathering excuse, you can always come see me and my band Jump Suit Love. This Friday we are at Elephant Run Jan 9th, SoCos Jan 17th, Fishbonz Jan 24th, & Sidelines Jan 30th & 31st. It would be awesome to see those of you who could make it out. I will be the fat bald guy who plays the keyboard ;-)

Thx,
Rodney

Rodney, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I did not go to Lynnwood or have the pleasure of ever meeting this lovely lady but she sure produced a wonderful person in you! I'm so glad that I have gotten to see you and Dee again recently. I will be praying for her and your family and please let me know if you need anything.

Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers for my mom "Mrs. Brown" She passed away last week at home on Sunday January 18th. I was outside watching the sunset and somehow I knew what was happening. It was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Her service is Friday at Floral Haven at 10AM.

See you all in a few years if not sooner!

Sincerely,
Rodney Brown
