Jordan Hiteshew

Jordan Scott Hiteshew age 26 passed away on September 2nd, 2010 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born on October 27th, 1983 in Windber, Pennsylvania, native of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Jordan was a graduate of Broken Arrow High School Class of 2001. Son of Scott and Renee (Rivenbark) Hiteshew, older brother to Jesse Hiteshew, all of Broken Arrow, OK. The love of his life is Jenifer Hale, Broken Arrow, OK. Preceded in death by loving grandparents Homer and Luana (Knavel) Hiteshew. Beloved nephew of Lauree Lapinsky, married to Jim Lapinsky, Windber; and Brent Hiteshew, married to Alicia (Russell), Alum Bank. Adoring cousins of Blake Hiteshew, Cortney Lapinsky, Robert Russell, Sarasue and Kyle Hiteshew. Great Aunt Audrey Ruffner, and cousins Karen and Mark Ruffner. Preceded in death by loving grandfather Roland Rivenbark of Willard, NC. Beloved grandson of Faye Rivenbark of Willard, NC, nephew of Randy and Ricky Rivenbark and cousins Allison West, Benjamin Rivenbark and Jonathan Rivenbark all of Willard, NC. He was a strong Christian and had a love for basketball and music. Jordan was the President of Vigilant Records from 2004 to 2008, releasing albums by Wreckless Process, Downstate, River City Ransom and Shutdown, Sequence, Go!. He also founded Spiffco Web Designs, creating and hosting web sites for My Solstice, Hotrodbob, Upside, Yawn Records, The Hive Club, The Pinkeye, Johnny Reliable, Fridgebuzz, Glen Strain, Utica, and more. Jordan was longboarding Sunday evening (August 29th) at the Broken Arrow Parks Trail at Aspen and Creek Turnpike when he took a hard fall. He was found unconscious by another person on the trail.

I check this site every few years to see if there are any updates but was quite surprised to see Jordan's name here. I knew Jordan since middle school and unfortunately once we got to high school we lost touch, but I never forgot how kind he was. I remember the last time I saw him. He was yelling at me from a bus because he forgot to give me back my watch after going on a field trip. He had that crazy funny smile and I just laughed and waved back not having any ideas what he was yelling...until like a week later LOL.
