Matt Fryer

Ian Matthew Fryer, age 36, of Coweta, Oklahoma departed this life on Friday, April 16, 2010 at his home. He was born on June 21, 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ian Danny and Barbara “Bobbie” (Young) Fryer.

Matthew was a loving husband, son, father, brother, and grandson to his family. He received his education in the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma school system and graduated from high school in 1992. Matthew and Cindy Renee Smith were united in marriage on July 20, 2002 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Fryer Motor Sports and Auto Leasing. He also owned and operated Dan’s Pawn and Gun in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Matthew was a member of several classic car clubs. He enjoyed modifying cars. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Matthew is lovingly survived by his wife, Cindy of the home; one daughter, Ryan Nicole Fryer of the home; his parents, Dan and Bobbie Fryer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two brothers, Kirt Fryer of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Rod Martens of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Terri Yonemura of Oceanside, California; his paternal grandmother, Jeanette Fryer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Matthew was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ralph Fryer and maternal grandparents, Elmer and Versie Young.
