I met Gloria in the 6th grade. With  Angela (Oxios) Conklin and myself we were known as the Three Musketeers.  We had to take a bus to Junior High School 125.  There were several times that we didn't know the buses were not running due to the weather.  We waited on that darn bus stop forever!  Luckily, we were all sent to Monroe for high school.  Angela and I lived practically across the street in the projects.  Gloria lived across the Bronx River.  We shared wonderful times.  The first of the Musketeers has passed away.  This is definitely a sad time for Angela and myself.  I was glad to have her in my life.  Thanks for the memories!  Rest in peace ole pal!  Maria (Rodriguez) Wilkins

Very sad to hear about Gloria.  I remember JHS 125 with Gloria, Angela, Ramona,  Maria and Judy Karp. We had such good times that were just "innocent" and "fun".
