Jerry and I were childhood friends from Parkchester. He was a very intelligent, dynamic personality who seemed ahead of his time. He introduced me to authors and books that kids of my age weren't even reading yet. We lost touch after high school when he moved to Queens, but I will always remember him not only as not only a friend but as a "force" in my life growing up. Mike Landau
