Charlie was so kind when he let my brother, Bob, and his friends play basketball on the court at his house (the "Owl House").

Charlie Gill, amongst his numerous talents, was an insightful writer even at BHS for our school newspaper - The Mirror.  Courtesy of Charles Luce, seven or so articles follow below as a tribute to a talented man taken too soon.  The articles are provided as DropBox links because inserted graphics do not render legibily with Class Creator.

An incredibly creative writer, sadly he only wrote one book.  But that book is a hoot.  Still available in the used book market.  The Boozer ChallengeI have a feeling the first 21 years of Charlie's life was research.  heart

Remember going to his house in 2nd grade... meeting his French mom... shooting a few hoops in the huge gymnasium...his sister had an iconic toga party in 1968? She was 5 years older but we... Gil netter myself and ? Maybe Chris Devlin crashed it toga and all. Was in touch with Charlie on Facebook so was shocked to hear the news....his dad was an accomplished writer who wrote for the New Yorker... I'm sure his dad has quite a portfolio. Still remember studying French in 2nd grade and going to mr kovak for speech... couldn't click the tongue!!! Remember Charles with Cheshire face and almond shaped twinkling eyes and brown hair...we're talking 3rd grade. What an outgoing engaging guy..Anyway... too sad to
