Oak, OC....we were the best of friends in 1968-69 until my father died and I blasted off into the 4th dimension (older friends) remember in his garage there were cases and cases of beer... like as tall as a 12 year old! Could we resist? Uh uh. We stole a case and buried it in the woods next door in the snow...a case . The we got the boys together... remember Kevin Daly, probably Charlie fergie maybe Benutes...probably the only guy who like it was Daly.. cause beer like scotch taste like crap... anyway after half a can I puked on my pants and boots... the next year we were all set to go to Woodstock in his brother joes red vw van and his girlfriend klinko but the guy ditched us! That was a disappointment to say the least ....RIP Sean

He was a really nice guy. What happened to him Johnathan?

Sean was the Director of Operations for a construction management company on St. Thomas USVI. Returning home on evening alone in his car he was ambushed and shot to death.  I do not believe the assailants were ever identified, and there is some speculation that he may have been mistaken for the intended victim.

Thank you for the update Charles, what a tragedy!

Sean was driving a white pickup truck similar to that driven by a local gang member who was going to testify shortly against his gang. That's the USVI police story. There is another version, unsubstantiated as far as I know, where Sean was the intended victim.

We lived accross the road from Sean on Locust Lane.  I remember him and his family somewhat.  We were never really close as he hung around with a different crowd.  RIP buddy.  Thanks for the updates on the reason for his passing....what a way to go!

Loved your comment Jon Ott.I read and read it with laughter and happy thoughts. Loved those days. And Dace, thanks for that, unsubstantiated is more likely. Either way,it still sucks. I am mad and pissed off that a kind, caring and good friend isn't in our life anymore
